Who’s YOUR Eco Hero?

Do you know a Local Eco Hero?

This year we’ve introduced a NEW Local Eco Hero Award to recognise and promote community members whose work or activities produce tangible outcomes for a better environment.

Do you know an individual who is going above and beyond, consistently striving to share and encourage positive ecological change within their community environment – the desert, rainforest, ocean, reef, rural or urban area?

Share with us your hero’s qualities, achievements, and ongoing contribution.

There’s a AUD 40 nomination donation for this Award, supporting the invaluable work of our chosen charity, Rainforest Rescue, whose tireless work in the Daintree has a positive impact on the Great Barrier Reef. And you’ll receive a complimentary Gold Ticket to view the Underwater Tour Show to be broadcast on 23 May 2021 valued at AUD 75. Woohoo!

The well deserving winner of the Eco Hero Award will receive a two night stay on the Great Barrier Reef’s Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort for two people including flights from Bundaberg or Hervey Bay. Make sure they take you with them!

Be quick…the window for nominations closes on Sunday 28 February 2021. To find out more head to The Eco Hero Award
